These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SheetFlow ("the app", "we", "our"). By using SheetFlow, you agree to these Terms.
What SheetFlow Does
SheetFlow is a personal finance tracking application that syncs with Google Sheets. The app allows you to record, categorize, and analyze your financial transactions, with all data stored in your own Google Sheets spreadsheet and locally on your device.
Your Responsibilities
- You must have a valid Google account to use SheetFlow
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter
- You agree not to use the app for any illegal purposes
- You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit the app
Your Data
You own your data. SheetFlow does not claim ownership of any data you create or store using the app. Your financial data is stored in your Google Sheet (which you own) and cached locally on your device.
We do not have access to your data except through the Google APIs you authorize. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
Google Account Integration
SheetFlow requires access to your Google account to function. By using the app, you authorize us to:
- Access your basic profile information (name, email, photo)
- Read and write data to the Google Sheet that SheetFlow creates for you
You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
SheetFlow offers a free tier that allows up to 50 transactions per calendar month. To record additional transactions or access premium features such as unlimited recurring transaction rules, a paid subscription is required.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Payment processing, auto-renewal, and refund policies are governed by the respective store's terms.
- Subscription status is verified through Adapty, a third-party subscription management service.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
- Cancelling a subscription does not delete your data. You retain access to your existing transactions and Google Sheet data, but new transaction recording will be subject to free tier limits.
Data Synchronization
SheetFlow syncs transaction data bidirectionally between your device and your Google Sheet. You should be aware of the following:
- Conflict resolution: If the same transaction is edited both in the app and directly in Google Sheets between syncs, the most recent change takes precedence (last-write-wins). This may result in one version being overwritten.
- Rate limits: Google imposes usage quotas on its APIs. If rate limits are reached, sync may be temporarily delayed. The app will automatically retry when limits reset.
- Offline behavior: Changes made while offline are queued locally and synced automatically when connectivity is restored.
Service Availability
We strive to keep SheetFlow available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance or updates
- Google API outages, changes, or rate limits
- Technical issues beyond our control
Disclaimer of Warranties
SheetFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The app will meet your specific requirements
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Data synchronization will always be instantaneous or conflict-free
- Any financial insights or calculations are accurate for your tax, legal, or financial planning purposes
SheetFlow is not a substitute for professional financial advice. Always consult qualified professionals for financial, tax, or legal decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SheetFlow and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Financial decisions made based on app data
- Errors in synchronization with Google Sheets
- Data overwritten due to sync conflicts
Modifications to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue SheetFlow at any time, with or without notice. This includes changes to the free tier transaction limit, subscription pricing, or available features. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Termination
You may stop using SheetFlow at any time by uninstalling the app and revoking Google account access. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app for violations of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
